I spent very nice summer vacation. I did various things in summer vacation.
In August 7th, I went camping at Kurohime in Nagano for four days. A lot of children came from all parts of Japan. I went this camp as a leader. I did many things in this camp. For example, walk rally, campfire, the game of “split-the-watermelon”, field day, exploration and so on. I think campfire was the most interesting thing. Everyone sung camp song very loud voice. It was very exciting for me. And I became good friends with many many little kids. They are very lively and very cute. The children had taken to me quite well. When final day, I was lonely say good-bye to the children. This camp was very short time. But this camp was very good experience for me. A few days later, I got a lot of letter from the children. I’m very happy to see these letters. But I still haven’t written a reply to letter from them. I have to write reply soon.
In summer vacation, I played softball many times as a club activity. We played softball under a blazing sun, in a downpour, in a thunder. We always played for about 5 hours!! I was so tired because it was very hard for me. But I enjoyed playing softball with my teammate. In September 12th, we played a game Daido Industry university. This is the first game for first year student. I took part in a game as the fifth batter and the third baseman. Although our team members were all first year students, we won the game by a score of 18 to 4. I had three hits in six times at bat. I drove in two runs, and I compiled a .500 batting average. I was glad to energetic in the game. There is the next game on October 11th. I have to practice more hard because I want to have more hit.
My summer vacation is very wonderful. I’m looking forward to getting winter vacation and spring vacation. Now I study very hard, I want to spend good vacation.
